dear anakhai just had a my 65th birthday, and a party in chapala.
when i read your blogging, i so often see myself, and the mass of humanity in your comments. i have always been super responsible, and love the attention to detail. i can still just ´´DO IT MYSELF.´´ without a lot of reflection on the sacred myster ´´e´´.....
so, my birthday came, and i approached a friend who was opening a restaurant. he referred me to his newly hired general manager. we discussed the plans, the food, the approach, the beverages, etc. the opening of the restaurant was on the 4th. the city arrived and closed the restaurant, and in the same breath the general manager was fired. the owner left town and told his bartender to just handle it. my birthday party was on the 9th. i had a conversation with the bartender, and said just do it. so, to my amazement, he did an amazing job. i totally let go of my need to make a list and check it twice. i let the sacred myster ´´e´´ handle the whole thing. it turned out very well. you can view photos at the following:

i am learning to let what ever occurs in the NOW to happen, and do my best to not judge it. so for me i am not into sin and the judgement that comes from those that want me trapped in shame and disillusionment. i am into LOVING it all in the NOW. challenge - yep, but in the end it is relieving and freeing, to let the holy spirit, the great one, the sacred myster ´´e´´ handle the details and let me bathe in the soft gentleness of the great chasm of love.

as i age, in my new life in mexico, i am so convinced that god is all i have, and trusting is my way. and yes i can obsess and worry, but i do my best to let it just go. i also know more than any thing that i need everyone in my life, my friends and my family. i do lament on my singleness on occasion, as most couples of any number of years and in traditional retirement communities, have no concept of what it is to be single, over 50 and gay. yikes.!!! and i do love my life.

i am into my being happy stage. i just want to be happy, and only do those things that make me happy. i have articulated a vision based upon all that i love, and that is my guide. but on a daily basis, i do my best to not go to the ´´HOW´´ and stay with what i am called to do on a daily basis TO BE happy
chaos and confusion seem to rule in mexico, so i just go with the flow. when i push, it is like pushing against a pile of cotton candy. from a distance it looks like a snow covered mountain, and up front, with an exerted push, i am forced to slow down and relax. i don´t know if others perceive me one way or another, or if i appear in control. i am not. i too am out of control, and more importantly, i am out of energy to try to be in control. being happy is better
for me, the only sure fire plan is to love, to love the moment, to lovemy fear of the future, to lovemy generous and full colorful creative love filled life. i so forget god some moments, and i do go to appreciation and reflection and then god returns. i find children to teach me, by looking into their eyes, so i can easily return to the beginning where the connection was obvious.
for today, a few days beyond my birth day of the 7th, i continue to learn to love, to balance loving myself first and others second. i am about love, it is the answer. loving it all. so on this day of days, i want to be close, to be truly intimate, to be with god. i am ok with christ in the truest of forms, but not those that torment his name in his name. i believe there are many paths to god, and those are my paths.
i want to be so in lovethat all that i touch turns to love. i want to be so embodied of love that i can be seen for miles in the light of god. i want to be an emissary of light and love to show those that do not believe, to give them hope and faith. i want to walk among the people of the earth and touch and be touched, to heal and be healed -- ´´rise my child and walk´, or ´´open your eyes and see.´
